Lannister witnesses the 21st anniversary of the establishment of the Australia Federation of Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Associations


07,11, 2017, The 21st anniversary of the establishment of the Australia Federation of Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Associations was held in Melbourne.

Lannister Wine Group, as an excellent example of Chinese students' entrepreneurship,

was invited to participate in this event and witnessed this important moment.

Before the opening ceremony, the State Council’s Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs sent He Han specifically to the table.

The event invited a total of more than 300 attendees from relevant government leaders in Zhejiang Province and prefecture-level cities,

representatives of consulates in Australia, dignitaries from Australia, representatives of Chinese and overseas

Chinese associations, representatives of Zhejiang provincial and prefecture-level associations.

The important leaders of the Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Federation formally announced the start of the celebration

The Australian Zhejiang Expatriates Association was incorporated in Victoria on October 14, 1996.

It is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and a provincial-level consortium with a pioneering historical significance in the Australian Chinese community.

The members include 26 Zhejiang overseas Chinese delegations (18 Zhejiang affiliates and 8 Zhejiang merchants' associations)

to form an Australian-wide overseas Chinese consortium with over 10,000 Zhejiang members.

Its purpose is to help each other and communicate with the villagers. Members join on a voluntary basis and do not have to pay membership fees.

Among the members are professionals who have settled in Australia for many years.

It has extensive professional experience in fields such as education, medical care, law and business management. From time to time,

the Federation will organize various free lectures and networking events for its members.
