On April 20th, the 11th International Symposium on Grapes and Wines and the Silk Road Rural Industry Integration Forum was grandly opened in Lantian County, Shaanxi Province. With the theme of “Quality Improvement and Internationalization of Wine Production”, the conference aims to explore new ideas, new achievements and new measures for grape and wine at home and abroad, showcase the development potential and advantages of Shaanxi wine industry, and strengthen domestic and foreign wine science and education units. The exchanges and cooperation between enterprises and wineries promoted the sustainable and healthy development of the wine industry. Representatives of many domestic and foreign wine companies attended the seminar.

The seminar and forum were organized by the International Grape and Wine Organization (OIV), Xi'an Municipal People's Government, China Wine Industry Association, China Food Industry Association, China Poetry Wine Culture Association, Yangling Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Zone Management Committee, Northwest China. Agricultural and Forestry University, Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, China Wine Higher Education Alliance, Northwest A&F University Wine College, Lantian County People's Government, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, OIV Asian Grape and Wine Technology Development Center, National Forestry and Grassland Bureau The Grape and Wine Engineering Technology Research Center and the Shaanxi Grape and Wine Engineering Technology Research Center are hosted by the Yuchuan Winery, the Shaanxi Fruit Industry Association, the China Agricultural Society Grape Branch, and the Food Science and Technology Society Wine Branch.

At the opening ceremony, Comrade Yang Guangting, deputy mayor of Xi'an Municipal People's Government, and Vittorino Novello, special commissioner of the International Grape and Wine Organization, jointly unveiled the “Workshop, Research and Research Integration Base One Professor Workstation”. Fang Yulin, Dean of the Wine College of Northwest A&F University, and Ren Tao, the county magistrate of Lantian County, signed the "Strategy Cooperation Agreement on Wine Industry Development".

Subsequently, the College of Wine Science of Northwest A&F University also reached a strategic cooperation intention with the Lannister Group of Australia and signed on-site: Lannister Group and Xiongnong Wine College carried out scientific and technological cooperation in the fields of viticulture, planting, brewing and branding; Niss Group has become an overseas internship base for the Xiongnong Wine Academy. It provides the excellent students of the Xiongnong Wine Academy to the Australian winery for a three-month internship and gives priority to employment opportunities. The Lannister Group will be a tasting course for the Xi Nong Wine Academy. The Tasting Panel Tasting Panel provides funding and tasting wine support for the full year course, totaling RMB 150,000.

After the signing ceremony, Prof. Fang Yulin, Dean of the Wine College of Northwest A&F University, presided over the awarding ceremony. The leaders presented donation certificates to 10 Chinese and Australian wine companies such as Lannister Group of Australia; Lannister Group of Australia was awarded the certificate of standing director unit.
